Those big, brown eyes; those cheeks; that smile... this little girl can't help but be adorable. And if the sweet little smile doesn't give it away, I'll confirm that she has the sweetest disposition. You would never guess from the photos that an impending storm and nap were about to ensue.

I'll never forget the life changing day I brought my first little bundle of joy home from the hospital. I'll never forget the sleepless nights, the feedings, the diapers, and that overwhelming feeling that I had no idea what I was doing. I'm sure that this is probably the most common reaction of first time parents... all that I've known up until now.

My most recent session was with a set of first time parents who are truly naturals at parenting. They didn't seem the least bit phased by all the newness of parenthood. They are super patient, incredibly flexible, and have tons of love to give this sweet little boy. What baby could ask for anything more?

Family Session

Well, three major holidays, a ton of travel, a new computer later, I'm finally able to blog again. I have some great posts to catch up on and here is one of my favorites.

I should have known that this talented mom, Courtney of Parties by Bash, could have made even the coldest, most overcast day turn out beautiful. She knew exactly what she wanted and picked out the perfect location to capture her vision for her family photos.

Just in time for Thanksgiving

My most recent session turned out to be an adventurous one, including a turkey just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

A few days before our session, the family spotted a red barn near their home and when they asked permission to have their pictures taken there, the owner obliged but warned them of the 'temperamental' turkey. Not only did we get some great photos, but the turkey along with chickens, roosters, and ducks provided entertainment not to be soon forgotten.

In case anyone is wondering what to give their mom for Christmas, this is will always be at the top of my list... photos of my kids smiling! A photo of me with my kids smiling would be blown up and mounted!

Family of four

When I first met this couple they where a family of two with their first baby on the way. This past weekend I was able to meet their newest addition- making them an official family of four.
